PEARL JAM Frontman Records Album's Worth Of Solo Material For 'Into The Wild'

According to RollingStone.com, PEARL JAM frontman Eddie Vedder has recorded an entire album of solo material to serve as the soundtrack for "Into the Wild", a new movie directed by Sean Penn. Vedder will also play a small role in the film. The singer has previously recorded songs for two films in which Penn starred, "Dead Man Walking" and "I Am Sam". The movie, which is set for release in September, features Vince Vaughn, William Hurt and Catherine Keener.
